 Rockford Elementary School Media Center Events & Reminders From the MARK YOUR CALENDAR:
A SPECIAL HOLIDAY BOOKFAIR to promote our Battle of the Books Team! Tuesday, December 4th - Friday, December 7th. Open daily in the Media Center from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Online "cyber shopping" available, as well. Tuesday Night is a special event in that 3rd & 4th Graders are performing a Christmas Show entitled "The Reindeer Whisperer." Chorus will also be performing. Come enjoy the entertainment. Consider the gift of reading and a book as a holiday gift for teachers, students, friends and family! 1. Battle of the Books candidates meet each Monday. BE PREPARED for your "checkpoint" quizzes. The final 12 person team will be decided upon by December 14th. Consult the Haiku for details. Know the authors and titles! Memorize details from those books. 2. Work to "Be on the Bus" for Quarter 2. EVERYONE started back at zero on October 12th. Be sure you know what goal you are working towards for Quarter 2! Quarter 2 dates: October 12th - December 20th.3.Remember to check-in ALL overdue library books. Keep them Current! |
