The second grade team at Rockford Elementary is committed to the "Gators" we teach each and every day. We embrace their newly learned skill of reading, and expand it through a variety of genres. We implement 21st century skills in daily lessons. We embrace the future needs of our children as we provide structured lessons as a Professional Learning Community. The daily essentials such as telling time, counting money, healthy eating, exercise, reduce, reuse, recycle, collaboration, and self control, are just a few essentials we work to instill in our students to prepare them for their bright futures.
