The fourth grade team at Rockford Elementary is committed to inspiring 21st century students as we enhance the minds and bodies of our "GATORS" and their futures. We work cooperatively to plan and carry out skill based and focused lessons that apply to their everyday lives. We challenge our students in mathematics, as they learn many new skills including, 2-digit multiplication and division, decimals, fractions, and area and perimeter. We continue to spiral previously taught skills in reading and elaborate on those concepts, continually striving to inspire higher order thinking skills. We incorporate technology and life skills on a daily basis to prepare our children to be productive citizens in a multimedia society.
