Surry County Schools’ School Nutrition is implementing a NEW, online free and reduced lunch application for the 2018-2019 school year. This is an exciting new feature for families. Parents will now be able to access a secure website that will be linked on school web pages and the Surry County Schools website. This link will be made available on August 1, 2018.
Surry County Schools is monitoring the weather and attended a meeting with Surry County Emergency Services today to plan for the storm and possible issues that our county may face next week. We will continue to monitor the storm over the weekend and remain in touch with our local and state emergency officials.
The new Student/Parent Laptop Handbook has been uploaded to our website. Parents and Students need to read this handbook before school starts. There will be a USER FEE of $27 this year along with contract and a mandatory orientation/meeting for Parents AND Students before laptops will be issued. Good evening, this is an important announcement from Pilot Mountain Middle School. Today we launched a new and exciting way to inform you, our parents, of important school-wide announcements throughout the school year using the Remind app, formally known as Remind 101.
