Learn the signs. Say something. The Say Something Anonymous Reporting System Hotline is now available to our students and families. This Anonymous Hotline is monitored 24/7 by trained crisis counselors. The SS-ARS allows youth and adults to securely submit anonymous safety concerns – anytime, from anywhere – to help identify and intervene upon at-risk individuals before they hurt themselves or others. The system enables school administrators and law enforcement to create effective interventions and to help prevent violence, suicide, bullying, self-harm and other forms of threatening behavior. 1-844-5-SAYNOW
Surry Early College High School held their school level Young Entrepreneur of Surry County competition on Monday, April 26th. The competition hosted for Surry County students, allows young entrepreneurs to compete for prize money that will be invested into their business projects.
Surry Early College High School student, Elorah Gillispie recently competed in the Regional NCASA Art Showcase Competition. Elorah entered a digital media piece of artwork titled “Changing History”, and will move on to compete in the state competition this Spring.
Two Surry Early College High School students, Nancy Garcia Villa and Victoria Griffin have been selected as Youth Tour Delegates for the Surry-Yadkin Electric Membership Corporation.
