Beginning Teacher Support Program Plan
One of the Surry County School System Board of Education Goals is to attract, train and retain quality personnel with skills to deliver 21st Century content to ensure every student has excellent and positive educators every day. Surry County Schools has developed a comprehensive program for the induction of beginning teachers as well as a plan for supporting beginning teachers and managing the Beginning Teacher Support Program. The Director of Teacher Recruitment and Retention will facilitate and monitor the program.
