The Math Club at SECHS is devoted to thinking critically about mathematical concepts ranging from complicated problems to overlooked scenarios we find in our everyday lives. From using a derivation of Newton’s Law of Cooling to determine how long potato salad can sit at room temperature before becoming dangerous to dissecting various forms of graphs and functions, we always have fun while preparing for our annual math competitions. With members ranging all grades and levels of math, everyone brings their own skills and interests to the Math Club!
