🌟 What an incredible start to our Surry County Schools Migrant Education Program (MEP) Summer Camp! 🌟

Our first day was filled with smiling faces, meaningful conversations, and wonderful opportunities for students and families to learn and grow together.

This year's camp is centered around the inspiring story of Dr. Q, whose journey reminds us that with determination, hard work, and the support of others, dreams really can become reality. Students and families engaged in thoughtful discussions about their own goals, aspirations, and the many possibilities that lie ahead.

Beyond the lessons, one of the best parts of the day was strengthening the connections between our schools, families, and community. These relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and it was exciting to see so many families participating and learning together.

A huge thank you to our amazing Surry County Schools MEP Team for planning and leading such an engaging day, to our wonderful families for joining us, and to our community partners for supporting our students.

And a special shout-out to Chick-fil-A for providing lunch for our campers and families, we truly appreciate your support!
