FLAT ROCK — Flat Rock Elementary School’s fourth- and fifth-graders presented “Africa” at a recent PTO program under the direction of Amey King, music teacher.
These students sang several songs, played instruments and participated in a drum circle.
Flat Rock is thankful for the Pinnacle Drum Circle taking the time to share their talent at the school’s PTO program. Trish Badgett is the director of the Pinnacle Drum Circle. Many other parents and students in the audience also joined in the drum circle.
Also, art teacher Kayla Ellis displayed art work from students in different grade levels. She also helped some fourth- and fifth-graders learn African proverbs that they recited.
