Surry County Retired School Personnel Scholarship - Deadline: April 15, 2020
Once again, the Surry County School Retired Personnel organization is accepting applicatoins for the SCRSP 2020-2021 scholarship. This scholarship is preferential to students planning a career in education, but all applications will be considered. The scholarship will be awarded to the most qualified applicant.
The SCRSP Scholarship is $1200 for one year, half paid at enrollment to Surry Community College, and the other half to be paid at the beginning of the second term. All applications become the property of the SCRSP, and the decision of the scholarship committee is final. Criteria for selections are: character, scholarship, academic promise, financial need, career potential and recommendations.
