The Fisher-Matthews-Misenheimer "Spirit to Learn" Foundation, Inc. will provide a $500 scholarship to a deserving high school senior who has faced "Exceptionally Difficult Personal and/or Family Circumstances." These challenges will have imposed extraordinary responsibility on the student. The applicant must have a strong desire to attain higher educational goals and have applied and been accepted at any community college, college or university in the state of North Carolina. The Scholarship will be paid to the selected school.
Students must download and complete the application plus provide a 1 to 2 page TYPED autobiographical essay containing your educational and career goals, the specific/unique circumstances experienced by your or your family, and how these challenges have influenced your life and goals. Bring completed application with essay to Ms. Henry by March 27, 2020.
