Franklin Elementary School Announces Science Fair Winners
Franklin Elementary School is proud to announce the winners of this year’s Science Fair. Students showcased creativity, curiosity, and scientific thinking through a wide range of impressive projects.
Taking 1st Place was Liam Chilton with his project “The Rain’s The Limit,” which determined how temperature affects how many rain droplets are needed to produce a rainstorm.
In 2nd Place, Eliza Haynes earned recognition for her experiment “Dissolving Peeps,” investigating what liquids makes the peeps dissolve the fastest.
Rounding out the top awards, 3rd Place went to Riley Lyles for “Gummy Bear Science,” a project examining how gummy bears absorb liquids and change in size.
