Staff Leader of the Month-
This month's staff leader is Amanda Thomas. She consistently creates a supportive environment where students feel seen, heard, and valued by approaching each interaction with empathy, patience, and without judgment. Amanda takes the time to truly listen and understand students’ perspectives, helping to build trust and encourage engagement. She remains calm and respectful in challenging situations, validating students’ feelings and modeling positive communication and emotional regulation. She extends this same respect and empathy to her colleagues, fostering positive, collaborative relationships with staff as well. Additionally, she is intentional about including all students and meeting them where they are, fostering a strong sense of belonging and confidence.
