On Saturday, February 21, 2026, the Surry Early College High School of Design Quiz Bowl Team competed in the 2026 NCASA Regional Quiz Bowl Competition. The Surry Early College Team competed against other regional teams and came in second place punching their ticket to the NCASA State competition. A special congratulations to Andrew Edwards who placed fourth in the entire state for individual points. The SECHSD quiz bowl team will move on to compete in the state competition on March 21st, 2026.
