From April 20th to April 24th, the Surry Early College High School of Design Science Club observed Earth Day with a series of awareness-building events. To promote engagement, the club organized daily themed dress days, ranging from "Sea and Sky" blue to a tribute to conservationist Steve Irwin.
The week’s highlight occurred on Thursday, April 23rd, when club members conducted their annual campus clean up. By removing litter and debris throughout the Surry Community College campus, the Science Club reaffirmed its commitment to local environmental conservation and the beautification of shared student spaces.
