Westfield Elementary recently hosted Camp Out With a Good Book, a schoolwide literacy event designed to encourage a love of reading. Students took part in reading games, listened to a wildlife presentation, enjoyed popcorn and s’mores, and gathered to hear a story “under the stars.”
Each student also received books to take home, extending the event’s impact beyond the classroom. Organized by the Literacy Committee, the program highlighted the importance of literacy while providing a memorable experience for all students.
