Flat Rock Parents,
Please help us out by completing the annual student update for each student you have at our school. (You can find the option to update in Powerschool.) This update gives us a lot of important information, such as whether or not you want your child videoed or photographed and gives you the opportunity to update or remove contacts and home addresses. If you do not have an account, you'll need to create one. While working on this, please make sure you are working on the annual student update and NOT the new student enrollment. Please call the office if you have any questions.
Thanks for your help with this!

Mrs. Hoosier's 3rd grade class won an ice cream sundae party for having the highest fundraiser sales. Thank you to our PTO president, Melissa White, for organizing this!

Our art contest winners had a great time on their field trip to Crisanthemum Studios in Pilot Mountain. They also enjoyed time at Charles H. Stone Library, painting beautiful art work on the sidewalks.

On Friday, Rotarians from the Mt Airy Rotary Club along with Miss Coe, Ms Greeson, and Mrs Edwards, read two books to Kindergartners! We appreciate the Rotarians for giving money so books can be purchased for all Kindergarten students and for coming to read to the kids!

Ms.Coe's Kindergarten class are proud authors! They worked through the writing process to write and illustrate their own book on what it means to show kindness in Kindergarten!

Flat Rock Elementary would like to congratulate our Volunteer of the 2025-2026 school year, Melissa Wight!

Today our entire student body pumped each other up for Dibels testing that begins tomorrow. Each class was paired with another class and gave them an encouraging message. We can't wait to see how well our Dragons do!
