Back to school Orientation August 7th and 8th
This is Alison York, your principal.

As you may recall, I previously announced my retirement, and the time has come for me to take that next step. It has been an honor to serve as principal of Flat Rock this past year. I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know our students, staff, and families, and I’m grateful for the experiences we've shared in my time here.
As the district continues to grow and invest in strong leadership, some administrative shifts have been made. I’m happy to announce that Tamara Martin will be stepping in as the new principal of Flat Rock, effective immediately. I will continue to support the transition to ensure a smooth start to the new school year, and I know you will be in great hands with Mrs. Martin.

Please join me in warmly welcoming Tamara Martin to the Flat Rock family!

**Update** Link to Powerschool with Instructions: https://docs.google.com/document/d/12UKRr3jDq8n4SHbrwMz_ohoi4qNaotDQ5iOg65WVbvY/edit?usp=sharing Flat Rock Parents, Please help us out by completing the annual student update for each student you have at our school. (You can find the option to update in Powerschool.) This update gives us a lot of important information, such as whether or not you want your child videoed or photographed and gives you the opportunity to update or remove contacts and home addresses. If you do not have an account, you'll need to create one. While working on this, please make sure you are working on the annual student update and NOT the new student enrollment. Please call the office if you have any questions. Thanks for your help with this!
