The S.A.V.E. Promise Club/Student Council and AIG students went shopping for four Flat Rock Angels for Christmas, partly funded by donations S.A.V.E. Promise Club raised. The students had fun while working as a team for this heartwarming service project. The students experienced the joy of finding exactly what a child asked for, as well as the disappointment when it could not be found. The spirit of giving was a gift for the grownups to see, as these students displayed leadership and generosity to make another child's Christmas merry.

#SCSUpdates | Due to a hazardous weather outlook and winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service for our area, Surry County Schools will transition to a Remote Learning Day on Monday, December 8, 2025, for students and staff.
This means all schools and facilities will be closed for students and staff. Elementary students should complete work in their remote learning packets, and middle and high school students should access their assignments on Canvas.
With the uncertainty of morning conditions, the district feels this is the safest option for students, staff, and the families we serve. Thank you, and please stay safe!
