Field Day is the best day!
Thank you Mr. McCrary for planning an awesome event for us.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to run a double bus route tomorrow morning and afternoon. Bus 77 will run its normal bus route in the morning. As soon as bus 77 gets here at school, the driver will run route 76. If your child rides bus 76, please expect the bus to arrive roughly an hour and a half past the normal pick up time tomorrow morning. In the afternoon, bus 77 will be dropped off according to the normal schedule. While bus 77 is out, bus 76 riders will stay in the media center with Mrs. Lambert. If you would like to pick up your child from the media center any time before 4:15, that will be fine. When bus 77 returns at roughly 4:15, the driver will take bus 76 riders home. I apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Hello Mountaineers! Tomorrow is field day, and there will be times when students will get wet. Please send a towel and a change of clothes for your child. Also, we would advise putting sunscreen on your child in the morning if possible. We will be playing outside all morning, then having a talent show at 1:15 with yearbook signing afterwards. If you come join us tomorrow, please take time to look through the lost and found located in the room outside the office area. We do have a few yearbooks left for purchase also. If you would like to buy one, please come by the office. We appreciate you.

Congratulations to our Student of the Quarter! Each student picture is a shining example of what it means to be a leader and Mountaineer! We are very proud of you.

Good evening Mountaineers! This is your final weekly message for the school year. On Monday, K through 4th grade will be having awards ceremonies in the media center. Please call the school if you do not know your child’s award time. While you are here for awards, please check the lost and found for any missing clothing. If your child takes medication at school, this needs to be picked up by May 23rd at 2:00 pm; we cannot send medication home on the bus. Also on Monday, 5th grade will be taking their end of grade test in science. Please make sure that 5th graders are well rested for this assessment. We are so proud of how hard students have worked on these tests and thank parents and guardians for their support. On Tuesday, we will be having field day in the morning and a talent show at 1:15. If you would like to join us, please contact your child’s teacher. On Thursday, our 5th grade graduates in the gym at 8:30. We hope 5th grade families can join us for this event. School is dismissed for the year at 11:00 on Thursday, May 22nd. As always, we are grateful for all of our Mountain Park community members and hope you have a wonderful summer.
