Looking ahead, there is no school on April 18th or the 21st for the Easter holiday. As always, thank you for being a part of this outstanding school community.

Mountain Park is excited to announce our Duke Energy Science and STEM Day on Friday, April 11th from 12:30 until 3:00! We would love for parents or guardians to join us. However, please understand this is not an event for siblings who do not attend Mountain Park Elementary.
Join us in exploring science, technology, engineering and mathematics through engaging hands-on activities such as making Magnetic Paintings, testing Ring Gliders, creating Straw Flutes, and much more! We will have bagged lunches on the 11th so please come join your child for lunch before the activities if you'd like to. If the weather is pretty, we may picnic outside.
We welcome students and families for an afternoon of science and fun! Please call the school with any questions.
Duke Energy Science events are an initiative of the North Carolina Science Festival. The North Carolina Science Festival is a month-long celebration of science that occurs every April. For the complete calendar of events, visit www.ncsciencefestival.org.
