Downtown Pilot Mountain has graciously supported the families in the East district who are in need once again. Christi Craig, the event coordinator, has planned the Polar Express day for the last two years and donated the proceeds to the schools in the East district. The schools use the funds to purchase essential items for students and families in need. We are so grateful to have such a supportive community in the East district. Thank you again to Christi Craig and the town of Pilot Mountain for your generosity!

We are excited to invite all of our rising 9th graders from Pilot Mountain Middle School to ESHS for our annual Transition and Curriculum Night that will take place on Monday, January 8th starting at 5:30 PM with an opening information session.
This will be an exciting night for our future Cardinal families that will include information sessions about opportunities offered here at East and families will have an opportunity to visit our Opportunity Showcase to learn more about Career and Technical education, the ARTS, academic course progression, extra-curricular activities, and athletics. Please check out our social media platforms and website for additional information, and please feel free to call the school with any questions or concerns. We will be happy to help.

This recognition is well-deserved, as this student showcases not only academic achievements but also an outstanding work ethic and lots of integrity. We’re celebrating Christmas and fostering teamwork in art class this week. Before we embark on a well-deserved Christmas break our students engaged in some team-building games. It was heartwarming to witness their enthusiasm and cooperation as they worked together to solve challenges and build stronger bonds. PMMS Girls and Boys Swim had another amazing win against Chestnut Grove on Friday. First place for girls were Cori Brinkley, Layla Comer, Emilynn Haymore, Stella Joyce (These girls finished first in all their events), Morgan Dean, Myiah Frye and Aurora White. Boys first place finishers were Raiden Liles, Matthew Needham, Charlie Speagle, Caleb Sloop (they finished first in all their events), and David Ransdell. It's great to be a Raven!
