The top seller will receive $250 in cash and the top selling class will receive a pizza party.
The Raffle Ticket Sale will end on December 4th and the winning ticket will be drawn at the home basketball game on December 7th.

This is your principal Molly Anderson. November 13th-17th is National Education Week. Please take the time to thank your child’s teachers for all their hard work.
On Monday, November 13th there will be a School Improvement Team meeting at 3:15 pm.
Also, on Monday our chorus students will be performing at the All County Chorus Concert at 7:00 pm at Mount Airy High School.
Progress reports will go home on Wednesday, November 15th.
I would like to wish the students representing PMMS at the county Science Fair the best of luck as they compete on Tuesday at Meadowview Middle School.
I would also like to wish our First Lego League Team the best of luck as they compete at the countywide competition on Saturday, November 18th at Surry Community College. Thank you and have a great evening.

PMMS HOSA attended the Regional Leadership Conference today at MAHS. Twenty-Two members attended. We are super proud of them all. We had several members who finished top three. We will be attending State Leadership Conference in April.

The PMMS Girls Soccer had another impressive 6-0 win today against Gentry Middle School. They finished the season as Conference Champions! Piper Halstead scored 3 goals, Lexzi Chavez with 2 and Brooke Collins with 1. The entire team was impressive this year with defense and offense. These 8th grade girls are going to be incredibly missed next year but the high school is going to be excited.

The 2023 Pilot Mountain Middle School Science Fair was a huge success. Everyone who participated should be applauded for their efforts. We want to congratulate the following students for all the hard work they put into these projects. The judges were impressed with their attention to detail and the quality of the experiments.
This year's school winner is Abram Richardson with his project 'Maintain Your Balance' which measured the electrolytes in sports drinks.
Other winners include Corrina Brinkley and Natalie Hawks who won first place in Earth and Environmental Science with their experiment on Paper Towel Absorbency.
Kyndon Penney received 1st place in the Physical Science category with 'UV rays vs Sunscreen.'
Ashton Hall, Caleb Gray, and Jack Wilkins received 1st place in Engineering for their 'Sail Away' project.
Nicole Caro and Daniela Ayala came in 2nd in the Chemistry category with 'Whipping It Up' which measured the strength of different flours in the creation of tortillas.
Erik Ortega and Lucas Gorman came in 3rd place in the Chemistry category with their Electrolyte project.
Cheyanne Hunt and Sara Goins were 2nd in Earth and Environmental with a project on Water Quality.
