Our HOSA chapter recently sponsored a DodgeBall Tournament to raise money for the American Heart Challenge. We raised $900.00. Our homeroom classes had an awesome time competing against each other! Way to go Ravens!

As we prepare for Spring Break, the 6th-grade staff would like to recognize this week's Student of the Week. We are proud to recognize Woodrow Boaz as our Student of the Week for February 26 - March 1. Woodrow deserves recognition for the amount of work he has been putting in. He is always kind and respectful to both the staff and his peers and is always looking to put someone in a good mood! He has really demonstrated the qualities of a hard-working student and is a great friend to others. Congratulations, Woodrow! Keep up the great work!

The sixth-grade staff would like to recognize a few stand-out-students as our Students of the Week. These students were selected by the team for their leadership in the classroom and on our hallway.
The Student of the Week for February 12 - 16 is Charlie Fitzgerald and he is recognized as a conscientious worker who is kind to everyone. He has a positive attitude, always tries his hardest, and takes responsibility for his work. He consistently makes good choices and is a quiet leader in his classes. We are proud of Charlie and are happy to recognize him as our Student of the Week for February 12 - 16.

The Student of the Week for February 19 - 23 is Laci Turney. Laci is a quiet leader. Even though she may not speak up as often as others, she always makes sure she is on the right track in her classes. She stays on top of her goals and always makes sure to complete what she needs to. She is responsible, respectful, and committed to always doing her best. We are delighted to recognize Laci as our Student of the Week this week. Congratulations, Laci!

The regional science fair participants did a great job representing PMMS on Saturday at the Regional Science Fair! Thank you to Kendon Penney, Daniela Ayala, and Abram Richardson for representing us so well!

HOSA hosted a successful Blood Drive with many donors. We want to give a HUGE thank you to Duck Donuts & Domino's for donating delicious food for our donors.

The Crystal Apple for February goes to Rhonda Taylor for her kindness, dedication, and love for others. She is not only a wonderful teacher, but a great friend, mentor, and human being. Her willingness to help others in their education, careers, and personal lives is something we should all strive to emulate.

The sixth-grade staff would like to recognize our Student of the Week for February 5 - 9, Jaelyn Leonides. Jaelyn's dedication, hard work, and positive attitude have not gone unnoticed. She consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and outstanding character traits. She is kind to others and leads by example.
Although she is typically quiet in the classroom, we know that she has a lot of valuable knowledge to share with the world and we are proud to recognize her as this week's Student of the Week.
