📚🍎 Welcome Back to School! 🍎📚
We’re excited to kick off the 2025-2026 school year at Rockford Elementary! 🎉
Here’s to a year filled with learning, friendships, and fun. Let’s make it the best one yet, Gators! 🐊💚
Students' first day of school will be on Wednesday, August 13th. New kindergarteners should have been given a start date during orientation. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have questions. You may walk your child in on their first day of school. If you have not updated your child's information online, please do so before their first day.
Our carline will begin each morning at 7:35. Staff members will be in front of the school building to greet students. Students should remain in vehicles until our staff are in place. If your child needs help getting out of the car, please wait in the car line and then pull to the end of the sidewalk and someone will assist you. Adults should remain in vehicles at all times.
Please remember our morning carline procedure will be changing to allow for more cars waiting in the parking lot rather than waiting on Rockford Rd. This will be the same process we use for our afternoon carline. All traffic is strongly encouraged to turn right out of the parking lot in order to keep traffic flowing.
Our school day ends at 3:00. As a reminder, we do not accept transportation changes over the phone.
Finally, all students will continue to receive FREE breakfast AND lunch this year. We are unable to charge adult meals. If you plan on visiting to eat lunch with your child this year, please note that cash or a check will be required.
I can't wait to see all of you this week. It's going to be a great year!
