"On Monday, the first graders had a wonderful surprise when Mrs. Flippin shared the classic story A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Students loved listening to the tale of friendship, teamwork, and gratitude as they followed along with Charlie Brown and his friends.
To make the experience even more memorable, students were provided with their very own mini Charlie Brown–style Thanksgiving meal — complete with the fun treats from the story. The kids were so excited to see the silly foods the Peanuts gang created and loved getting to enjoy them together!”

Substitute Teachers' Day is celebrated annually on the Friday before Thanksgiving during American Education Week to honor substitute teachers for their role in keeping classrooms running smoothly.
Substitute teachers play a vital role in education by stepping in when regular teachers are absent. They adapt to different classrooms and manage diverse groups of students, ensuring that learning continues.
Thank you all for everything you do daily to ensure that instruction and learning continue.

World Children’s Day is UNICEF’s global day of action for children, by children, marking the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child on November 20. Around the world, children are standing up and talking about their lives, their hopes, and their rights.
From the moment the sun rises, children wake up to a world shaped by choices they didn't make. But every child, everywhere, also wakes with rights, including the right to be protected, to learn, and to have their voice heard.
It’s time to listen to children. To understand what their lives are like and how their rights are present, missing, or pursued every day.
