Congratulations to Jerry Holt for being named Rockford's Bus Driver of the Year for 2024-2025!! Mr. Jerry has served in the bus driver field for a number of years, is committed and dedicated to our school and students.
One staff member says, "Mr. Jerry is the man to count on when it comes to getting the kids to school safely. Jerry not only keeps them safe, but he also encourages leadership with all students."
Jerry has high expectations for the students, holding students accountable for their journeys. He is an upstanding adult who all kids feel safe to ride with and talk to about anything.
We are proud to celebrate Mr. Jerry as our Bus Driver of the Year and appreciate all you do for Rockford Gators!

Our 1st-grade students had an exciting adventure on their field trip to Kaleideum today! 🚌✨
They explored hands-on exhibits, engaged in interactive learning, and had tons of fun discovering new things. It was a day full of curiosity, laughter, and memorable moments! 🌟
Mrs. Simmons’ class took a sweet journey into history today! 🍭🎲
After reading about the origins of the board game Candy Land, students were challenged to create their own board games. They came up with a unique theme and title, determined how to win, chose the number of players, listed materials needed, and wrote their own rules. What a fun way to mix creativity, critical thinking, and a little bit of nostalgia!
