Rockford Elementary Student Council Halloween Costume Contest!

Get ready to show off your Halloween spirit! Our Student Council will host a Halloween Costume Contest on Friday, October 30th!

The entry fee is $1.00, and all proceeds will go to the Rockford Elementary Student Council.

Halloween Costume Contest Rules:

No costumes that cover the head or face.

No costumes that are gory or depict violence. Fake weapons are not allowed.

Costumes must allow students to participate safely in all classes, including PE and recess.

Officer Richardson takes school safety seriously, but he also knows how to make our students laugh!

Our Pre-K students had a special visit with Officer Richardson as he showed them some of the glasses and earrings that have been turned in to our Lost and Found. It was a fun way to remind students to keep track of their belongings while sharing a few laughs along the way.

National School Bus Safety Week Begins!

This week, we recognize the importance of keeping our students safe as they travel to and from school each day.

At Rockford Elementary, we are thankful for our dedicated bus drivers who work hard to ensure our Gators arrive safely and are ready to learn. We encourage everyone to do their part by slowing down for school buses, obeying stop-arm laws, and watching carefully for children getting on and off the bus.

Let’s work together to keep our Gators safe, both on and off the bus!

Attention all students who ride bus 53, Mrs. Leigh’s bus:
Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure a substitute driver for Monday, October 19.

Bus 53 will not run Monday morning or in the afternoon.
Students will need to be brought to school in the morning and picked up in our car line on Monday.
The tardy bell rings at 8:00 AM and school dismisses at 3:00 PM.

Again, bus 53 will NOT run on Monday.
