Backpack Awareness Day – September 17
Backpacks are more than just something students carry to and from school. For many children, backpack programs provide a little extra support and help make sure they have what they need outside of the school day.
We are thankful for the organizations, volunteers, staff, and community members who support backpack programs and help provide food and other essentials to children and families in our community.
Today, we recognize the importance of these programs and the difference they make. Every backpack filled with support is a reminder that our community cares about our kids!
Together, we can help make sure every Gator has what they need to learn, grow, and succeed!

We remember the innocent lives taken, the brave first responders who ran toward danger, the military members who served and sacrificed, and the families and communities forever changed by that day.
