Rockford Elementary students participated in D.E.A.R. for October, taking time out of their day to drop everything and read! 📖✨
It’s a great reminder that reading can take us anywhere — one page at a time! 💚🐊

A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be at Rockford Elementary on Thursday, October 23, 2025 for Fall Retake Pictures.

Our 2nd graders had a fantastic time watching Junie B. Jones, The Musical at the Andy Griffith Playhouse! 🎟️
They laughed and loved seeing one of their favorite book characters come to life on stage. 💚

Our first graders have been busy learning all about forces and motion! They practiced identifying different types of motion by acting them out in a fun charades activity, showing pushes and pulls. Then, we explored magnetism by creating our very own magnet people and experimenting to see what objects our magnets could attract or repel. It was an exciting hands-on way to see science in action! 💫
