Good Evening Mountaineers! This is your principal Matt Scott with a few updates.
I have some updates from our weekly messages yesterday. Our Grow Strong Team WILL meet tomorrow afternoon, as well as Thursday. Team members will need to be picked up at 4:00 both days.
The Good News Club had their final meeting of the year last week, so they will NOT meet this Wednesday. We’re so grateful for our relationship with Charity Hill Baptist Church and for all they do for our school, especially leading this wonderful meeting every week.
Also, 5th graders will have their cap and gown pictures on Monday, April 15th. Picture information will come on Thursday of this week and pictures will need to be pre-paid if you want to purchase those.

Good Evening Mountaineers! This is your principal Matt Scott with this week’s updates.
We will have Math Monday tomorrow after school until 4:00. Our Grow Strong team will NOT practice after school on Tuesday, but they will practice after school until 4:00 on Thursday. On Wednesday, the Good News Club will meet until 4:30. We will have no school for students on Friday as our teachers have a workday.
A Solar Eclipse is happening Monday, April 8th. We will use this special event as a learning opportunity and thanks to PTO, students have been provided solar eclipse sunglasses so they can watch it safely. If your child would like to bring a towel to sit on while watching the eclipse, they can.
Friendly Dental van will be here on Monday. If you completed a form for your student to see the dentist this school year, and no longer want them to attend, please call Friendly Dental or the front office to make them aware.
Class pictures were sent home on Friday. There were a few extras that we will sale on a first come first serve basis. They are $10 each and you must contact the front office to purchase those.

On Friday, we will wear blue to raise awareness about child abuse prevention.
Friday is a big fundraiser for our PTO. We will have our annual 31 Bingo with doors opening at 5:30 and the Bingo starting at 6:30. We will have prizes, pizza, drinks, snacks, and lots of fun!
Our Mountain Park PTO apparel sale is underway. A flyer was sent home and there is an online site you can use to order. The link is posted to our website and Facebook.
