Get ready for a fun Halloween surprise! Our principals will be making special visits to each classroom for some trick-or-treating! Be prepared for some spooktacular fun, sweet treats, and maybe even a few tricks! 👻🍬

Students in Mrs. Custodio’s class celebrated National Candy Corn Day, October 30th, by enjoying all things candy corn! They read about how candy corn is created and even watched a video about the process. Students also solved math problems that created candy corn. Their favorite part was eating candy corn! Students were also allowed to bring their favorite drink to enjoy during the celebration!
🟢 Gator Day Fun! 🟢
Our students had a fantastic time celebrating Gator Day! They enjoyed delicious chocolate chip cookies on the playground, got into the Halloween spirit with a Monster Mash dance, and played a thrilling game of zombie tag! 🧟♂️🍪💃
A huge thanks to everyone who helped make this day special! We love seeing our Gators having fun and building lasting memories! 🌟

Storybook pumpkins are due tomorrow Tuesday October 29th. Pumpkins are due to the library by 9 AM.
Rules
1. Choose your favorite storybook character.
2. Get a small to medium size pumpkin. It can be real or fake. 3. Decorate your pumpkin to look like your book character by using acrylic paint, markers, or glue to add things to your
pumpkin. Spray paint and water colors do not work well. PUMPKINS MAY NOT BE CARVED, CUT OR HAVE HOLES
POKED IN THEM!!!! 4. Fill out the entry form on the back and return it with your
pumpkin.
5. Pumpkins are due to the library on Tuesday. October 29 by.
9:00am.
6. All pumpkins need to be picked up by Thursday, Oct. 31.
Prizes will be awarded for the most creative pumpkin .
Congratulations to Mrs Thomas’s class for winning the fastest class competition in PE. Students run/walk for 5 minutes then the class laps are averaged to determine the winning team. They will keep the roving trophy donated by Kustom Designs & More until the next competition! Way to push Gators!
Students, staff, and parents enjoyed a fun night of creativity at 🎃Paint the Night Away🎃 in the Rockford Elementary cafeteria! 🎨✨ A special thanks to Grounded Coffee for supplying the delicious hot chocolate. ☕❤️ Thank you to everyone who participated and supported our art department. It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, art, and community spirit!
🎃 Rockford Elementary Halloween Costume Contest – October 31st 🎃
Get ready for some spooky fun! To participate, bring a canned food donation, sponsored by the Student Council. All donations will go to the Foothills Food Pantry.
Contest Rules:
No costumes with head or face coverings.
No gory costumes or those depicting violence. Fake weapons are not allowed.
Costumes must not interfere with class activities, including P.E. and recess.

Rockford Elementary’s kindergarten students have been learning all about animal habitats! 🐾🌿 Over the weekend, they teamed up with their families to create amazing dioramas showcasing their favorite animal habitats. The creativity and effort put into these projects are truly impressive—great job, kindergarteners and families!

All month long we have celebrated our amazing principals. This week they revived a box of Crumbl cookies because our school would “crumbl” without them!
