Congratulations to the April Leaders of the Month!

Happy School Principal's Day, Mrs Waters! We appreciate everything you do to keep our school running smoothly, inspire students, support teachers, and foster a positive learning environment daily! Thank you for all you do! CHOMP CHOMP! 🧡🐊💙

Greetings, Rockford Gators-
This is Mrs. Queen calling with an important message for students who ride bus 53:
Unfortunately, we are unable to secure a driver for bus 53 this afternoon.
Students who ride bus 53 in the afternoon will need to be picked up in our car line at 3:00 PM.
Please communicate with your child's teacher or call the school at 374-6300 about afternoon transportation if needed.
Again, bus 53 will not run the afternoon route today, Tuesday, April 30.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and flexibility,

Mrs. Fitzgerald, Mrs. Powell, Mrs. Mosley, Mrs. Day, and Lanie are so proud of how our RES Gators performed in the MAD Dash this past Saturday. They all worked hard to reach their goals and have made huge improvements since last fall. Congratulations to Milan Ruiz for finishing first in his age group for 10 and under males!

Good morning Gators! This is Mrs. Waters with events for the week. Monday will be day 4 in our specials rotation. On Monday, Mrs. Martin’s class will head to The Farm to pick strawberries. We know these students will enjoy this trip. On Thursday, we will have a dedication of our new Buddy Bench. Our SAVE Promise club has worked all year to raise funds for this and get it built and painted. We are so excited to add it to our playground. On Friday, we will dismiss school at 1:00 for students. Our PTO will host an End of School Bash on Friday from 6:00-8:00. There will be no admission. PTO will have food available for purchase and we will have a couple of food trucks as well. Students can enjoy bouncing houses, face painting, cake walks, and more. Please come out and join us to support our PTO—finally, just a few reminders to parents. We cannot take transportation changes over the phone. You must request a change in writing. Students cannot be signed out of the office after 2:45. If you arrive after 2:45, please pick your child up in the carline. Also, for student and staff safety, please put your phone down when you are coming through the line during arrival and dismissal. Thank you!

Today, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our administrative team, Mr. Jason Johnson and Mrs. Elia Martinez. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed! You are the unsung heroes of our school community, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do! 💖
