Chocolate Fundraiser Final Reminder!

Our chocolate fundraiser will officially end on October 13th!

Please make sure ALL money is turned in for every chocolate box you have checked out. All chocolate must be paid for on or before October 13th.

Remember, students must meet the following sales requirements to participate in our upcoming events:

Foam Party: Sell 3 boxes of chocolate
Bring a Friend to the Foam Party: Sell 4 boxes of chocolate
Magic Show: Sell 5 boxes of chocolate

If you have sold the required number of boxes, please make sure all money has been turned in by October 13th in order to attend the events.

Thank you for helping us make our chocolate fundraiser a success! Every box sold helps support Rockford Elementary!

Today, we celebrate the amazing teaching assistants who make such a difference at Rockford Elementary School!

Our TAs support our teachers, encourage our students, lend a helping hand, and help create a positive learning environment each day. Their patience, dedication, and willingness to do whatever it takes for our students do not go unnoticed!

Early safety habits start with our youngest learners!

September 25 is National "If You See Something, Say Something®" Awareness Day.

At Rockford Elementary School, we teach our students that keeping our school safe is a team effort. We encourage all elementary students to spot, report, and prevent by sharing anything unusual with a trusted adult. Tell a child today: If something looks unsafe, scary, or out of place, always say something to a teacher, parent, or principal!

A Special Lunch Visit at Rockford Elementary! We were excited to welcome Dr. Steve Hall, Theresa Atkins, BOE members Jade Kiger and Kent Whitaker, and Matthew White to Rockford Elementary today! Our school board members served lunch to our students and enjoyed spending some time with our Gators. We appreciate you taking the time to visit, serve, and connect with our students! Thank you for supporting Rockford Elementary School and the children we are so proud to serve. Thank you for being a part of the Rockford family!

Backpack Awareness Day – September 17

Backpacks are more than just something students carry to and from school. For many children, backpack programs provide a little extra support and help make sure they have what they need outside of the school day.

We are thankful for the organizations, volunteers, staff, and community members who support backpack programs and help provide food and other essentials to children and families in our community.

Today, we recognize the importance of these programs and the difference they make. Every backpack filled with support is a reminder that our community cares about our kids!

Together, we can help make sure every Gator has what they need to learn, grow, and succeed!

I chose this person due to their tireless dedication to our school, staff, and students. I never get tired of listening to students talk about how much they love being in her class. This teacher is always prepared, always insanely organized, always positive, and always doing her best. She has had obstacles that she takes on with a positive mindset and never backs down! She always has a hand in celebrating others. Last year she even experienced a loss and still showed up and ran our baby shower. She always thinks of the other person first. I'm grateful to know Brooke and to have her as a friend and coworker!
