It's time to start preparing for another exciting school year, and we encourage all families to review the supply list for their child's grade level to ensure they have everything needed for a successful first day. Please remember that Kindergarten and 1st Grade students should not bring markers or colored pencils. Donations of hand sanitizer, Kleenex, and sanitizing wipes are always appreciated and help keep our classrooms healthy throughout the year. Mrs Pattie Martins 2023-2024 third-grade class came full circle this morning on their last day of fifth grade! While in third grade, they helped Mrs. Annette Draughn edit her second book, Mr. Bob Needs a Cake for Mrs. Honey. Today, they received Young Editor Awards and copies of the book! Mrs. Draughn inscribed a special message to each kid on the cover, gave them a special thank you in the front, and included their class picture at the end. They were so excited to receive these treasures and hear Mrs Martin bring their suggestions to life. The students LOVED the book! Thank you so much, Annette Draughn, for including these kids in your journey as a published author!
